I bring artifacts and elements from the world 'out there' to my camera and table top where I can create a new reality, often juxtaposing quite disparate objects. I am able to bring a sense of order into the frame by arranging, composing and lighting these selections, which are often chosen to convey or narrate my affections, appreciations and joys, and sometimes my thoughts and concerns, but mostly they're a gateway to the realm of creative playfulness and the adventure of working with mass, shape and line; articulating them together as sweetly as I can.
